Alberico Catapano is a valued new HICC steering committee member, ready to lead the HICC to greater success and innovation in the future. He is a distinguished Full Professor of Pharmacology and Director of Epidemiology and Preventive Pharmacology at the University of Milan. Renowned for groundbreaking research in atherosclerosis, lipids, and genetic dyslipidaemias. Former President of the European Atherosclerosis Society, now leading key guideline initiatives and as the current President of the Italian Society of Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics.
